Learn a bit more about this concert’s program:
Mozart was under a very tight deadline when he wrote Symphony No. 36, and it was written in just 4 days! Even though he wrote the work so quickly, it’s one of his most exuberant and energetic symphonies!
Schubert’s Symphony No. 9, originally called “The Great C,” was the final symphony completed by the composer. The piece was considered extremely difficult to be executed by orchestras, but it became known as one of the composer’s finest and most innovative pieces.
