Visual Arts at CCE Miami

From Mar 1st through Mar 15th, 2007CCE Miami presents Confluences. Painters and Poets at Editart, Artist’s Books. Editart is a publishing company of “big original illustrated editions”. It was founded in 1971 in Geneva by Dolores and Orlando Blanco. The project’s objective, created more than 30 years ago, was to unite the work of poets and painters. Editart has edited 147 titles with the work of 29 poets and artists such as María Zambrano, Pablo Neruda, Jose Angel Valente, Miró, Tápies, Calder, Chillida among many others. Also at the Centro will take place Estampalo. Theoretical and practical sessions about the art of Engraving. Coinciding with the exhibition Confluences CCE organizes several sessions where the audience can learn this technique. Theorical session imparted by Eduard Reboll. Wednesday, March 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Free admission, limited seats. Practical sessions imparted by the artists Vicenta Casañ and Joaquín González.
