24 Hours Theatre Project. November 19th, 2007. 8:00 p.m.
At 7:00 p.m. a group of playwrights gather together and randomly select a theme from which they must write a short play to be staged, rehearsed and performed the next day, just 24 hours later. At sunrise, the directors and actors arrive, armed only with copious amounts of caffeinated beverages, and spend the entire day on a process that usually takes weeks. That night, the audience will gather to see… well we have no idea what their are going to see, and that is the whole point of the project. It's like the creative theatre process on speed. This unique performance of the Naked Stage will be held at the GableStage Theatre in Coral Gables on November 19th, 2007.
