The Coral Ridge Concert Series presents the most award-winning female vocalist in the Christian music industry, Sandi Patty on Saturday, January 17th at 7:30 p.m. Known as "The Voice," Sandi Patty is a celebrated artist and author. She was a recipient of the President Merit Award at the 2008 Grammy Salute to Gospel Music event in Washington, D.C. in June at the historic Lincoln Theatre. Her concert will be held at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church as part of the 2008 – 2009 Concert Series.
Sandi Patty was honored in July 2007 by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) with the GMA Music in the Rockies Summit Award during her concert performance in Estes Park, Colorado. She has won 39 Dove Awards, five Grammy Awards and four Billboard Music Awards and is a member of the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame. She has released 24 albums over the last 27 years, selling more than 11 million units and receiving three platinum and five gold certifications from the RIAA. Sandi has performed for four Presidents; appeared on the "Tonight Show," the “Macy's Thanksgiving Parade,” and "Christmas in Washington." She has played at Carnegie Hall and has inspired millions all over the world with her soaring voice and humble character. She is currently a featured participant in the Women of Faith conferences.
