From Apr 9 through May 7, 2011. Lelia Mordoch Galerie presents “Nostalgic Hardware,” an exhibit of works by artist Daniel Fiorda. The body of work presented spans a decade of creative work and a variety of media: sculptures, paintings, found objects, experimental pieces and work in progress.

Dichotomous by Marcus. From Mar 10 through Apr 5, 2011. Marcus’ Dichotomous’ is this month’s exhibition as part of the series “I Art Miami” and it showcases a new collection of works by Miami-based artist Marcus that explore both surface and implied depth completed from 2008 through 2011. All pieces featured in the exhibition are mixed media on canvas.

Through May 7, 2011. Praxis International Art is presenting Colorforms, a group exhibition by Louis Cameron, Michelle Carollo, Gisela Insuaste, Doreen McCarthy, Freddy Rodríguez, Ines Raiteri, Julio Suárez and Marela Zacarias.

From Feb 12 through Apr 2, 2011. Alejandra von Hartz Gallery is currently presenting two exhibitions: Working Premises featuring works by Uruguayan artist Martín Pelenur, and Winter Solstice by Argentinian artist Geny Dignacin in the Project Room.

From Feb 12 through 28, 2011. J.G. Platform presents the first group exhibition in its new location. The show entitled “Sauvage” will show work from international artists, each working on a variety of mediums and concepts. These works come together to introduce the new space in the Wynwood Art District.

In a new series of photographs taken during trips to various women’s recovery centers and domestic settings throughout the US, Francie Bishop Good examines the infinite conditions and possibilities of human identity and emotion in her subjects and the worlds they inhabit.

Fredric Snitzer Gallery is currently presenting an exhibition of new work in a variety of mediums by artist Loriel Beltran, marking his second solo show with the gallery. The materiality of an artwork and how it is composed has become a driving force in Beltran’s large body of work.

Feb 10 through Mar 15, 2011. Myra Galleries opens its doors in Wynwood Art District on February 10th, with an exhibition featuring works by two mixed-media artists and three photographers.

From Feb 12 through Mar 16, 2011. “Black Box Glowing was my first solo show at Art Miami 2010, presented in cooperation with Galerie Lausberg, Düsseldorf and Galerie Bender, Munich. All translucent acrylic glass works or flexible plastic woven works were shown under black lights, which created a light aura surrounding each work and distributed a shimmering reflection to the nearby walls.
