The exhibition showcases a vast display of work by painter Benjamin Cañas. The exhibition is part of New World School of the Arts Art for New Art Permanent Collection donated around five years ago by an anonymous benefactor, through the efforts of Rosario Martinez-Cañas, graphic design professor at NWSA.
Benjamin Cañas (1933 – 1987) is one of the most important visual artists of modern Latin America. His works are included in many museums and permanent art collections and it has left a strong artistic influence in his own country and Latin America as well as is known internationally.
