New Theatre. Melt by Michael McKeever

From Apr 5th through May 6th, 2007Melt, the newest play by Michael McKeever will be premiered by New Theatre and deals with “Miamian issues” and family affairs. As a new skyline forms over our city; histories, traditions and heritage are slowly being lost; and perhaps, new ones are being created. In the play, three families – one Cuban, one African American and one Jewish – collide, intermingle and eventually blend into one as Michael McKeever’s provocative new play its intricately woven tapestry of family, history and hope. Michael McKeever is been a vary popular playwright in Miami and in this opportunity he will be having one of his plays World-Premiered at New Theatre for the sixth time. His plays have been produced Off-Broadway, as well as throughout America and Europe. He is also an award-winning actor and designer.
