Italian Renaissance and Baroque Concert January 28th, 2007The Miami Bach Society will offer an afternoon of Italian Renaissance and Baroque music performed by Il Furioso, an acclaimed ensemble of virtuoso soloists. The concert will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove on Sunday, January 28th, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. The group, led by lutenist and FIU Professor of Musicology, David Dolata includes fellow lutenist, Victor Coelho; tenor, Gian Paolo Faggoto; soprano, Janet Youngdahl and guest artist, Robert Heath on the harpsichord. The program includes rarely performed compositions of lute virtuoso, poet and singer, Bellerofonte Castaldi, as well as music written by his friends and colleagues he admired.
