From August 10th through August 27th, 2006The Women’s Theatre Project has moved their 2006-2007 season to the Cooper City Theatre, beginning in August. Commemorating the move is the Florida Premiere of Kathleen Tolan’s Memory House, directed by Genie Croft, the artistic director of The Women’s Theatre Project. This show marks the eighth local premiere for the professional theatre company. The production stars veteran actress Sally Bondi and New World School of the Arts drama student, Katie Middleton. Memory House explores timeless questions about love and independence. It is a wryly funny and recognizable mother-daughter drama that also examines the ethical ramifications of international adoption. Memory House opened Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons earlier this year and starred Oscar winning actress, Dianne Wiest. Performances are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Cooper City Theatre is located at 12233 SW 55th Street, Suite 807, Cooper City, FL.
