Bergonzi String Quartet and Margaret Donaghue Flavin
The Bergonzi String Quartet brings their polished sound to two poetic and poignant masterpieces. Rarely heard outside of symphonic settings, we hear Sibelius at his most inward, during a crisis when a tumor was discovered in his throat. Mozart’s contemplative and mellifluous quintet is here offered in performance by University of Miami professor Margaret Donaghue Flavin.
