Bakehouse Art Complex. November 6th, 2008. 7:00 p.m. 
The Bakehouse Art Complex (BAC) will host “Lucky You!” its third annual benefit fundraiser featuring an art raffle, music, hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment. The money raised will go to the BAC to help maintain it as one of the most unique art facilities for artists in Miami and the Wynwood District. This event will take place at the Bakehouse Art Complex on Thursday, November 6th from 7:00 through 10:00 p.m.
The Bakehouses’ 2600 square foot Main Gallery will be hung salon style with artworks graciously donated from both Bakehouse artists and other local community artists. Mediums presented include paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and mixed media works.
Each raffle ticket can be purchased during or prior to the event. Among the exhibited artworks to be raffled will be an original drawing by Pablo Cano, whose work has been displayed at various prestigious institutions such as the Miami-Dade public library, Wolfsonian, Lowe Art Museum, Bass Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami and the Cintas Foundation. Every work will vary in color, concept and subject, which is sure to enrapture every aesthetic.
