From the concert series Journey Through Sound this festive evening of klezmer will feature the Amernet Quartet and clarinetist, Alexander Fiterstein, founder of The Zimro Project, a unique ensemble dedicated to incorporating Jewish art music into chamber music programs.
The Klassically Klezmer will feature members of the Amernet String Quartet (FIU’s Ensemble-In-Residence), Cantor David Muchnik of Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, FIU jazz pianist Michael Orta, FIU Latin Jazz Ensemble, clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein, FIU Jazz Vocal Ensemble and Singers, and other distinguished concert artists.
