Ritual, Rhythm and Harmony From Jan 20th through Feb 15th, 2007Jan and Kristof, a new gallery located in North Wynwood is opening its doors for the first time with the exhibition Ritual, Rhythm and Harmony by artist Jan Siuta. Conceived in collaboration with The American Institute of Polish Culture and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland, the exhibition will be on display at the gallery located at 5748 NE 4th Avenue in Miami, FL until Feb 15th, 2007. There is a mini-renaissance occurring north of Miami’s Design District. As the city continues its rejuvenation north, the long-neglected warehouses, storefronts, and motels of the Upper East Side are being reinvented into art studios, galleries, designer shops and gourmet restaurants. This new artistic community became a home of Jan and Kristof Gallery. It opened to the public during Art Basel Week and counts on 2,000 square of exhibition space. Gallery owners, Jan Siuta and Kristof Jurczynski, are artists who began their careers and their friendship while studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland.
