This film was winner of the Cannes Film Festival Grand Jury Prize, Best Actors and received the France Culture Award for Foreign Cineaste of the Year. The film will be preceded by Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s first short film Cocoon (Koza) (1995/18mins)
