Disney and Pixar’s Coco: In Concert Live to Film is a family-friendly film with live orchestra concert event featuring Michael Giacchino’s beautiful musical score and the 2017 two-time Academy Award-winning film for Best Original Song as well as Best Animated Feature Film.
Produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, the film tells the story of a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who travels to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family.
Also happening between shows, continue the Day of the Dead celebration outside with El Dia de los Muertos en la Plaza from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts. Activities will include creating a traditional ofrenda, kid’s crafts, mariachi and conjunto performances, face painting and a Coco-inspired costume contest. El Dia de los Muertos en la Plaza is FREE to attend; tickets to Disney and Pixar’s Coco: In Concert Live to Film are not required.
