A Celebratory Event For Teens, By Teens. Pérez Art Museum Miami’s (PAMM) Teen Arts Council hosts a celebratory event for teens, by teens, featuring Time & Space: Relatively Connected, PAMM’s Brick x Brick Teen Art & Design Program Exhibition. Enjoy live music, Caribbean snacks, and art activities inspired by Caribbean: Crossroads of the World on view at PAMM through August 17, 2014.
Brick x Brick is an after-school program at designated sites in communities near Pérez Art Museum Miami’s new home in Museum Park. Brick x Brick uses the Museum’s building project and exhibitions to inspire integrated problem-solving and new skills in the fields of architecture, computer graphics, geography, sociology, and specific art interventions. Through the program, students will gain technology skills including digital photography and design skills using software programs such as Google Sketch-Up. PAMM partners with community organizations in Little Havana, Little Haiti, and Liberty City to expand the reach of the program and provide students with a diverse set of opportunities and environments in which to learn.

Museum Hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, Closed Monday. Free First Thursdays.
