The evening starts early and there’s no intermission, so you can enjoy an early start your weekend. The music pulses with rhythm and life. From the “Gypsy Airs” to the hypnotic intensity of Ravel’s Boléro.
The concert will feature the Orchestra conducted by Giancarlo Guerrero, Augustin Hadelich, violin and will include the Berlioz Roman Carnival, orchestral excerpts of Bizet’s Carmen, Sarasate’s Gypsy Airs (Zigeunerweisen) and of course Ravel’s Boléro.
The Cleveland Orchestra launched its landmark Miami Residency in January 2007 in the new Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Central to this achievement was the creation of the Musical Arts Association of Miami to support the Cleveland Orchestra Miami Residency, with a goal of fostering a culture of passionate and dedicated concert going among the broadest constituency.
