The photographic series Childhood Memories from the Other Side of the Water by Eduardo del Valle, includes certain aspects of the artist’ memories. For 40 years, Del Valle have worked focusing his practice on subjects in states of transformation.
Over the past nine years, the artist has worked on a visual autobiography of his experiences related to his childhood, his recollections of Cuba between 1951 to 1961. The project includes 88 autobiographical photographs, recreating memories shot entirely outside of the island.
