Contemporary visual artist Charley Friedman offers a survey of humorous, family-friendly sculptures, photographs, videos, drawings, and installations. Visitors can create their own works based on exhibition themes in the Interactive Art Room.
Charley Friedman was born in Nebraska (1968) Currently lives and works in New York. Friedman is a conceptual artist, where the most prevalent themes in his art are personal identity and the relationship to one’s body. The essence of his art resides in the exploration of the absurd, tragic, and contradictory nature of living that humor can uniquely portray from multiple yet equal tangents. Friedman produces sculptures, installations, photographs, videos and performances.
