Miami Beach Cinematheque. June 17th, 2009. 8:30 p.m. The 2006 film Climates (Iklimler), directed by Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan and featuring Ebru Ceylan, Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Nazan Kirilmis, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on June 17th, 2009 at 8:30 p.m. in collaboration with Emerging Pictures.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. From Jun 19th through 21st, 2009.  The 2008 film Three Monkeys (Üç maymun), directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan and featuring Yavuz Bingol, Hatice Aslan and Rifat Sungar, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque from June 19th through 21st, 2009 at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. in collaboration with Emerging Pictures.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. From May 29th through 31st, 2009.    The film Lemon Tree (Etz Limon), directed by Erin Riklas and featuring Hiam Abbass, Doron Tavory and Ali Suliman, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque from May 29th through 31st, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 23rd and 24th, 2009. 8:30 p.m.  The film Katyń, directed by Polish Andrej Wajda in 2008, and featuring Artur Zmijewski, Maja Ostaszewska and Andrej Chyra, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on May 23rd and 24th, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 21st, 2009. 8:30 p.m.  The Miami Beach Cinematheque, in collaboration with Emerging Pictures, presents the Miami theatrical HD premiere of the film La Strada on May 21st, 2009 at 8:30 p.m. Directed by Italian master Federico Fellini in 1954, the film features Anthony Quinn, Giulietta Masina and Richard Basehart.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 15th trough 18th, 2009.  The Film Hunger, directed by Steve McQueen in 2008 and featuring Michael Fassbender, Liam Cunningham and Stuart Graham will be screened at the Miami Beach CInematheque from May 15th through 18th at 7:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Hunger won the Cannes Film Festival Camera d'Or and the European Film Awards Discovery Of The Year.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 14th, 2008. 8:30 p.m.  The film The 400 Blows (Les Quatre cents coups) will be screened on May 14th, 2009 at the Miami Beach Cinematheque at 8:30 p.m. Directed by French François Truffaut in 1959, the film features Jean-Pierre Léaud, Claire Marier and Albert Rémy.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 8th through 10th, 2009.   Winner of the 2008 Cannes Film Festival’s Jury Prize, the film Tokyo Sonata will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque from May 8th through 10th, 2009 at 8:30 p.m. Directed by Japanese Kiyoshi Kurosawa in 2008, the film features Teruyuki Kagawa, Kyôko Koizumi, Yû Koyanagi.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 28th, 2009. 8:30 p.m.   The film Jules et Jim, directed by French François Truffaut in 1962 and featuring Jeanne Moreau, Oskar Werner and Henri Serre, will be premiered at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on May 28th, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. May 7th, 2009. 8:30 p.m.  Miami Beach Cinematheque, in collaboration with Emerging Pictures, presents the theatrical HD premiere of film Knife In The Water (Nóz w wodzie). Directed by Polish Roman Polanski in 1962, this movie features Leon Niemczyk, Jolanta Umecka, Zygmunt Malonowicz.

May 21st, 2009. 8:00 p.m.  A new and unprecedented one-hour documentary on the remarkable history and perhaps even more remarkable survival of Miami’s landmark Vizcaya is scheduled to air on May 21st, 2009 on WPBT- Channel 2 at 8:00p.m. The documentary is directed by Corley and voiced by actor and part-time Miami resident, Andy Garcia.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. April 30th, 2009. 8:30 p.m.   The film Frenzy, Directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1972 and featuring Jon Finch, Barry Foster, Barbara Leigh-Hunt and Anna Massey, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on April 30th, 2009 at 8:30 p.m.

Miami Beach Cinematheque. Apr 25th and 26th, 2009.  The American film Wendy and Lucy, Directed by Kelly Reichardt and featuring Michelle Williams, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on April 25th and 26th at 7:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
