Miami Beach Cinematheque. Sept 20th, 2009. 8:00 p.m. In mid-September of 2009, US experimental filmmakers Ben Balcom and Josh Weissbach begin the southern portion of Heap Us ‘Round Our Ruins: An Interstate Film Circuit. It is a tour of two artist’s filmic works, custom-made for each location stop.

The film A Woman in Berlin (Anonyma-Ein Frau in Berlin), directed by Max Färberböck and starring Nina Hoss, Yevgeni Sidikhin, Irm Hermann and Rüdiger Volger, will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on September 12th, 13th and 14th at 8:30 p.m.

Sept 16th, 2009. 8:30 p.m. The Miami Theatrical premiere of the film Sleepwalking Land (Terra Sonâmbula) from Mozambique will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on September 16th at 8:30 p.m. Sleepwalking Land was directed by Teresa Prata in 2007 and features Nick Lauro Teresa, Aladino Jasse and Hélio Fumo.
