{mosimage}December will no longer be the "visiting art fairs month" when a totally renewed Art Miami shifts its dates to the high season's peak this December. Its new home will be a large tent structure on NW 2nd Avenue, between 22nd and 23rd street, right in the heart of Wynwood Art District. The 100,000 square foot pavilion will host approximately one hundred national and international galleries participating in the event. By these means, Art Miami will be able to offer the largest booths available among the visiting art fairs, in addition to easy parking and quality dinning-lounge spaces.
The organizer’s smart move will consolidate Art Miami as a distinctive platform for modern and contemporary art galleries seeking exposure. By shifting dates, Art Miami has recovered its protagonist role in the regional art market and will be reigning over many of the other visiting events. After all, it is our own brand. With its new structure and dates, the event anticipates a positive response among a wide selection of national and international art galleries that have historically made the core of the fair.
Art Miami will also continue its tradition of offering free entrance during one day of the fair, and will be the only fair to remain open on Monday, December 10th. There will be no better place to be for local organizations than Art Miami during the world’s most talked-about art fair season.
