Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) is seeking entries from established and emerging artists for its inaugural ART + STROLL, presented by BBX Capital, on Thursday, November 21 in downtown Fort Lauderdale in the lobbies of buildings 401, 301 and 450 on Las Olas Boulevard from 5 to 7 p.m.
There is no fee to enter. Work must be 2D and original in concept, design and execution and no larger than 30” wide by 60” high. 3D art such as sculpture, ceramics, fashion or other free-standing artwork may be submitted but accepted artists are responsible for providing a display pedestal and will also have to set up and deliver their art on Wednesday, November 20.
Works selected are based on originality, creativity, craftsmanship and artistic distinction. All work(s) must be submitted as a 300 dpi jpeg via online submission at bfabroward.org/programs/art-stroll/art-stroll-artist-entry-form. Artists may submit up to two different works for consideration that they personally have created. Each jpeg of the work must be accompanied by an ART + STROLL artist’s entry form. Artwork in jpeg format should be saved with the artist’s name and title.
Final deadline for submissions is Monday, September 23 by midnight via email. Accepted artists will be notified in early October and accepted works may be used for marketing purposes. Accepted artists will receive two complimentary SIP + STROLL tickets to the event.
