The Miami Symphony Orchestra plays Symphonic Blues

Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet joins forces with Corky Siegel, one of the world’s great blues harmonica masters, to perform William Russo’s foot-stomping blues concerto, Street Music. French-born pianist Monique Duphil performs Ravel’s Concerto in G, in a playful, jazz-and-blues inspired program that also features Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria von Weber.
