Landscape architect Raymond Jungles will discuss his philosophy of garden design, illustrated with photos. His current projects include 1111 Lincoln Road with Herzog and de Meuron, The New World Symphony Campus South with Frank Gehry and Partners, the new Sonesta Key Biscayne Resort, The Brazilian Garden at the Naples Botanical Garden, and landscape redesign of the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
Published widely in books and magazines, Jungles is author of Ten Landscapes (Rockport Press, 1999) and a second monograph with 25 recent gardens will be published by Monacelli Press this year. The lecture will take place at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, located at 2000 Convention Center Drive in Miami Beach.
