March 16 and 17, 2013.
Key Biscayne’s premier art event returns March 16 and 17, 2013 to usher in the spring with the bold and bright colors of a wide variety of original artwork on display and for sale. The Key Biscayne Rotary Art Festival, now in its 49th year, has become an annual tradition in this popular seaside community and is produced in partnership with festival promoter Howard Alan Events and the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne. The Village Green located on Crandon Boulevard will be transformed into an outdoor gallery style art exhibit with the work of 150 artists in the country. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to explore the original artwork, enjoy live music, sample dishes from the international food court and even the youngest art enthusiasts will be engaged in interactive art activities. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Lincoln Motor Company, Presenting Sponsor of the festival, will be awarding a limited number of quality collector edition posters of “Lincoln Road III”, a painting created by participating artist April Davis. The original painting measuring 8 feet x 5 feet, will be on display in April’s booth, across from The Lincoln Motor Company display. April will sign each poster for patrons if they stop by her booth. In addition, festival goers will have the opportunity to register to win two separate giveaways. The first is for a chance to win a limited edition, fine art reproduction of April’s collectable painting titled “Lincoln Road III” and the other is for a chance to win a 2-year lease of a 2013 Lincoln MKZ, no purchase is necessary to participate in either giveaway.
