Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator

 

Area Stage Company (ASC) is an award-winning non-profit professional theatre company that for almost three decades has staged provocative, world-class theatre and musicals. ASC has produced plays, musicals, and original works, becoming one of South Florida’s most influential theatre companies. In addition to housing a professional theatre company, ASC has a professional-level conservatory with classes, workshops, and performance opportunities for young, aspiring performers and the Inclusion Theatre Project (ITP), a theatre program for people with special needs. We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team.

 

The candidate would need to develop and produce creative graphic designs used in all marketing communications platforms as needed. The candidate will also be responsible for advancing the community and customer experience through online and traditional marketing. This position is also charged with accelerating the expansion and use of social media channels. Applicants should have a capacity for coordinating and implementing marketing communication projects. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within marketing and advertising is important.

 

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites, and WordPress applications is required as is basic HTML knowledge.

Must possess excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.

Attention to detail, fluent English, and excellent grammar skills.

Must be comfortable with Gmail, Google Drive, photo enhancing/photo editing, social media content development, marketing coordination/management and some public relations.

 

**Must have a website or links to past projects and/or a portfolio.**

 

We are a boutique non-profit professional theatre company and conservatory with a dynamic atmosphere. Only highly interested and qualified candidates need to apply.

 

Position will be part-time (20-25 hours per week). Must have a flexible schedule.

Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience.
