Florida Classical Ballet's Spring Summer Unique Galas

Join Florida Classical Ballet, South Florida’s promising emerging ballet company, for its debut Red Curtain Series performance, “Spring Unique Galas,” at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center.

International dance stars from prestigious companies including the San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, English National Ballet, and La La La Human Steps Company take the stage with FCB for a presentation of some of ballet’s most revered suites and selections, under the direction of Magaly Suarez and assistant director Ibis Montoto.

Both ballet connoisseurs and neophytes alike will enjoy this enchanting evening, including works from the comedic Coppélia, Russian-original The Spectrum of the Rose, Danish-born August Bournonville’s legendary love story The Flower Festival in Genzano, and a mix of classical and character dancing in Flames of Paris. After a brief intermission, guests will be delighted by a suite from one of ballet’s most famous and celebrated works, Le Corsaire.

The evenings will feature guest star dancers from San Francisco Ballet including Taras Domitro, Joan Boada, Francis Chung, Madison Keesler, Nicole Ciapponi, Diego Cruz, Gaetano Amico and Luke Willis. Guest Star dancers Venus Villa from the National English Ballet, Grace Anne Powers from La La La Human Step and Jeffrey Cirio from Boston Ballet.

The young talented dancers of Florida Classical Ballet supported by local professional FCB company dancers Ernesto Borrayo, Ignacio Rivera, Mifa Ko, Harold Blackhood, Emily Spencer and Gonzalo Angulo.
