This documentary looks at how AIDS has affected many lives over many years. Hear personal accounts from people who were there in the beginning, have seen both the sorrow over lives lost and the hope generated by advances in medical research. Activists, medical experts, and people who were on the ground describe their stories from the war on AIDS.

Speechless (China, Simon Chung, 2012, Chinese with English subtitles, 92 min)
A mysterious Westerner appears on a riverbank in southern China, completely naked. Taken to the hospital, he refuses to speak. While doctors soon resign, the hospital’s orderly, Jiang, is captivated by the stranger, only to later discover a lust-filled secret that provides a key to the mysterious stranger’s past.

A feature length compilation of 15 short films that portrays 15 people living with HIV/AIDS from the San Francisco Bay Area. Sixteen well-known local filmmakers collaborated with fifteen protagonists to create fifteen pieces that run from verite doc, experimental film, dance video and spoken words. This film weaves a diverse slate of stories into one powerful AIDs video quilt of our times.

Marshall is turning 30 and is desperate for a new life. He downloads an app called eCupid that guarantees true love, and immediately sabotages his 7-year relationship. With the help of a wise and mysterious waitress, Marshall is given one last chance to figure out who and what is really important.
