Join Tigertail Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the historic Miami Dade County Auditorium On Stage Black Box, for a not to be forgotten Expected/Unexpected bash. It is an event filled with all the expected fun – and the unexpected too!
Tigertail’s event invitation says: “Bring your peeps and party with us!” Attendees will gather on stage at the Miami Dade County Auditorium for one of Tigertail’s legendary parties. Guests will enter the stage through the theater back door, greeted by Monsieur Peep (David Rohn). M. Peep will be only the first of many expected and unexpected “Peep Experiences” enjoyed by party guests. Imaginative performances and installations by many of Miami’s finest artists will take place throughout the evening, playing on the peep show theme. The Peep Advisor is JC Carroll. Judging from Tigertail’s parties over the years, party guests will arrive in an array of theme-inspired regalia.
The party will include food and an open bar. The free, secure auditorium parking lot features easy access and ample space.
“What Tigertail presents and produces throughout our season is simultaneously 21st century, authentically Miami, innovative, and at the same time lots of fun,” said Mary Luft, Tigertail’s founder and Executive Director. “We like to celebrate with our supporters each season with a great party. This year’s event promises to be our best to date.”
The Silent Auction of original artwork from Miami’s trend-setting and established artists, including David Almeida, Carlos Alves, Loriel Beltran, Randy Burman, Timothy Buwalda, Pablo Cano, JC Carroll, Clifton Childree, Dinorah de Jesús Rodriguez, Mark Diamond, Jacin Giordano, Francie Bishop Good, Felice Grodin, Adler Guerrier, William Keddell, Dina Knapp, Jessica Laino, Frédéric Lère, Terri Lindbloom, John Mack, Will McGaul, Charo Oquet, Vickie Pierre, Ralph Provisero, Brian Reedy, Karen Rifas, Sal Sidner, Sara Stites, Kristen Thiele, Tom Virgin, Michelle Weinberg, Tom Weinkle and Wendy Wischer (to date).
Tickets are $125 for one person, $220 for two, $400 for four, and are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. (Tigertail Productions is a non-profit organization.)
