June 11th, 2010. 10:00 a.m.
Culture Shock Miami and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens have teamed up to present a great event for teens the first Friday of summer vacation. The event is designed for students 13-19 and will feature an interactive scavenger hunt, live entertainment, special appearances, contests and prizes, Culture Shock Miami T-shirts, and even lunch compliments of Pollo Tropical.
At the Culture Shock Miami Museum Hunt at Vizcaya, student sleuths will be divided into two groups and collect clues during their exclusive guided tours of Vizcaya’s main house and gardens. Participants will be challenged with a second mission that will bring out their artistic side during a sketching workshop.
All students participating in the Culture Shock Miami Museum Hunt at Vizcaya will get an exclusive look into the Vizcaya mansion that has been visited by some of the world’s most popular dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II, President Ronald Reagan, and King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain. All supplies will be provided on site by Culture Shock Miami and Vizcaya. Students just need to come prepared to think creatively and have fun. Lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket.
