XXII International Hispanic Theatre Festival From Jul 6th through 8th, 2007The acclaimed International Hispanic Theatre Festival, presented by Teatro Avante and American Airlines is celebrating its 22nd anniversary season by bringing a vast selection of theatre groups from the United States, Latin America and Europe to various locations in South Florida. From July 6th to 8th the troupe Timbre 4 from Buenos Aires, Argentina will present La Omision de la Familia Coleman (The Coleman Family’s Omission), written and directed by Claudio Tolcachir. The play is an exploration of ties and contradictions in an eccentric family that takes us to the edge of the absurd, to be entertained and moved by tragicomic characters that provide an original and universal portrait of family dynamics. Recipient of the 2006 ACE Awards for Best Play, Best Direction and Best Off Theatre Production presented by Argentina’s Association of Entertainment Reporters.
