Coral Gables Congregational Church Summer Concerts August 16th, 2007. 8:00 p.m.Taylor Eigsti is acclaimed for his wizardly technique, open attitude, and mature and intuitive style. The twenty-two year old pianist, composer, and bandleader has been on the jazz scene since his pre-teen years. He has already appeared with some of the greats today like Dave Brubeck, James Moody, and Ernestine Anderson, among others. Taylor has also been a featured guest on Marian McPartland’s NPR program Piano Jazz and was the featured performer on a live recording with McPartland at the 2004 Tanglewood Jazz Festival. His album, Resonance, climbed to the top five in National Radio Airplay for several weeks and received a four-star review from Downbeat.
