Volunteers needed at Vizcaya

From Jan 13th through Mar 17th, 2007Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a National Historic Landmark and European-inspired estate on Biscayne Bay, announces their 2007 Volunteer Guide Training Program. The training will be held on Saturdays beginning on January 13, 2007 and continue through March 17, 2007. Through historical content and contemporary museum methodologies volunteers will learn how to engage visitors of diverse backgrounds in the rich history of Vizcaya’s decorative arts, architecture, interior design, and landscape design. Vizcaya welcomes over 150,000 visitors annually from around the world and provides tours in 10 languages. Classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Vizcaya located in South Miami Avenue.
