After a successful launch in 2005, Pulse Miami returns to the Wynwood District, running concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach at 2700 NW 2nd Avenue at NW 27th Street in Wynwood Art District. During its debut last year, Pulse Miami brought over 7,200 attendees to its venue in the Wynwood District, a popular enclave of young and established galleries, art institutions, and alternative art spaces, and was the first fair to make its home in this area. Pulse was created to bridge the gap between the major and alternative fairs and has proved that there is a popular market between the two.
The range of works available at Pulse Miami, presented by a notable group of galleries, will draw both well-established and younger collectors to the fair. Pulse Miami will include this year special artist installations throughout the duration of the fair.
Installations will include Francis Acea, Golden Years, Tom Ellis Je Ne Regrette Rien, Ellen Harvey, Beautiful/Ugly Palm Beach, Kitty Kat (Beyoncé) Björn Schülke, Drone # 4 and Jade Townsend, Untitled. Pulse Miami will also include several new participating galleries, including Ambrosino Gallery, Galeria Baró Cruz, Richard Heller Gallery, Postmasters Gallery and Galerie Anne de Villepoix.
