Four unique and spectacular evenings of Early Music’s best artists brought in from around the world. Start enjoying on Friday Feb 27 with a Barock’n Roll concert. French prodigy Jean Rondeau will electrify the opening concert of the Tropical Baroque Music Festival XVI with performances on harpsichord and jazz piano.
The Festival will continue on Feb 28, when Cenere’s new reading of Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons will take the stage. Festival favorites Fuoco E Cenere sail through the calendar year in Venice- picture postcards from that seductive city by the sea. Fuoco E Cenere presents these much loved masterpieces alongside rarely heard evocative passages in the Red Priest’s own words.
March 2nd offers a program by the Venice Baroque Orchestra, recognized as one of the premier ensembles devoted to period instrument performance. They will be joined by the mandoline virtuoso Avi Avital. Stile Antico, twelve young British singers, is a true chamber music group will take the stage on Mar 3rd. Tropical Baroque Music Festival XVI will be dedicated and celebrated in Loving Memory of Kathy Gaubatz and Robert Heath
