MRA, formerly known as Michael Rosenthal Associates, the South Florida interior design firm, was selected by Miami Modern Luxury Magazine and Fendi to design the Fendi Casa Showroom in the Miami Design District. An essential part of Fendi’s new designer showcase, the Fendi showroom is the area’s premiere retailer of Fendi’s Casa line of home furnishings. Distinguished by the subtle interplay of couture fashion and high-end furniture, the Fendi Casa collection is an interior designer’s dream.
Handpicked to design the showroom under pressing time constraints, MRA quickly rose to the challenge and set its talented team of designers and industry professionals to work. Taking into account the dynamics of the showroom, the designers produced a compelling interior from a variety of integral elements. Resonating with a dramatic and theatrical theme, the firm manipulated lighting, drapery, and paneling to create an unusual, riveting space rich in intensity and quite dynamic. Particularly interesting is the placement of a work of art on the back wall, a focal point brought to vibrant intensity and depth from every conceivable angle through the use of LED lighting that continuously changes colors.
MRA‘s design for the Fendi Casa Showroom was a spectacular success. Attended by more people than they had ever experienced at a comparable event, both Fendi and Miami Modern Luxury were pleased with MRA’s demonstrated commitment to aesthetic excellence and client loyalty.
