The festival will feature over 60 performers ranging from ages 4 and up with special performance by Baila Flamenco dance Company. A tribute to a very special urban place in Malaga Spain, the “Chinitas Passageway” meant a lot to Spain’s music history. Celebrations, festivals and daily commercial activity made the passage magical and inspirational. Through the passage access arch was the “Café de Chinitas”, a small and popular theater-cafe that became the cradle of amazing artists. In some occasions it operated as a brothel, and its various scandals and knife fights led to the closure of this emblematic place. Poets, musicians, dancers and painters were inspired to create masterpieces that we still enjoy today.
