The Williams McCall Gallery is the first fine art gallery located in the trendy South of Fifth neighborhood and has become a “must visit” destination for art lovers and collectors.
The stylishly minimalist gallery represents a diverse roster of local and international artists creating contemporary paintings, works on paper, fine art photography, encaustic collage and sculpture.
There is a remarkable selection of Florida-centric work that includes local painter Madeliene Abling who uses her palette knife to create exciting imagery of boats and adult beverages; prominent landscape artist John Dowd who unveils a new body of work entitled “In Florida”; and representational oil painter Joan Cobb Marsh who offers several stunning series of Florida including the Port of Miami and the South Pointe Park.  Sports artist and former Boston Globe illustrator Larry Johnson who works can be found in the private collections of Oprah Winfrey and Vernon Jordan offers original acrylic paintings of Miami Heat players LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
Other artists include Cuban landscape painter Enrique Flores-Galbis whose current series of paintings grew out of his visit to Cuba after a thirty-five year absence. The resulting collision of memory and fact found its expression in the paintings of Havana streets with their sun struck, salt bit facades buttressed by the resonant, steadfast shadows; National Geographic photographer David Evans who finds hidden beauty in otherworldly landscapes as he often travels the globe with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; and Ernie Bynum, a renowned colorist, who paints images that relate to his past in a way that creates mystery and intrigue.
The gallery also represents works by Marty Ittner who creates collages using layers of wax and paper with fragments of ephemera.  Not to be missed are the original mono prints of printmaker Taka Maruno whose abstract etchings reflect his early years in suburban Tokyo and the assemblages of sculptor Mike Wright who constructs her pieces from found painted wood.
There is a unique mix of emerging, mid-career, and established artists.  Several of the artists have a strong Provincetown, Massachusetts connection- the oldest, largest, and continuous art colony in America.
Our mission is to bridge various artist communities and provide artists, both little-known and established, greater exposure and a new venue of expression. “
