The Coral Gables Museum presents Thomas A. Spain: A Retrospective (1982-2013). Architect and artist Thomas A. Spain is a master visual interpreter of architectural structures and places. As a professional architect and faculty member of University of Miami's School of Architecture since 1966, Spain's impact is felt throughout UM, Coral Gables and beyond.

Imagine a center that fostered peace by incorporating elements of different religions in one space. That’s what Miami Dade Colleges (MDC) architecture students did recently for eight weeks. The team won a competition sponsored by the Key Biscayne Community Foundation and Global Education Foundation in March.
